Wreck victim identified as McDonough man

The man killed last Friday in a Henry County wreck has been identified as a 19-year-old from McDonough.

Steven Matthew Bond was driving a scooter southbound on Ga. 155 at Millers Mill Road shortly before 7 a.m. Friday when a Ford Escape traveling northbound made a left-hand turn into the scooter, killing Bond.

Henry police Capt. Jason Bolton told the AJC Thursday that the investigation is still active and charges are pending against the Ford driver, whose name has not been released.
