Tyrone police are looking for the man that allegedly walked up to a Sonic drive-through window and tapped on it with a silver handgun while demanding cash Monday night.

When employees told the man they didn't have any cash, he walked around the restaurant and fired a round into the doorway, Tyrone police said Tuesday. The employees ran to the back of the restaurant and locked themselves in the cooler as the suspect walked away, police said.

The suspect is described as being 5-feet-5 inches to 5-feet-6 inches tall with a slim build and close-cut hair. During the robbery attempt, he was wearing all gray and black, with a gray bandana across his face and was carrying a gun.

Anyone with information about the man is asked to contact Tyrone police at 770-487-4732.
