Work on new Ga. 316 interchange begins Tuesday

Construction will begin Tuesday on a new interchange at Ga. 316 and Collins Hill Road, weather permitting.
Contractor GP’s Enterprises will begin clearing vegetation and other preliminary work. The $37.4 million project includes 2.2 miles of new roadway and two new bridges over Ga. 316. The work is expected to be finished in December 2014.
