The construction contractors working with Sugar Hill to construct sidewalks on Whitehead and Suwanee Dam Roads is currently working along the Suwanee end of Whitehead Road toward the northeast.
Sidewalks have been extended just east of Regency Lake Court, leaving a few gaps where drainage structures and curb modifications are required. Erosion control, demolition and grading have extended as far as Sugar Ridge Drive.
Sugar Hill staff anticipates contract completion/demobilization before the end of summer.
The SPLOST-funded sidewalk projects will add some 5.5 miles of new sidewalk in Sugar Hill.
