Work continues between rain showers at Jimmy Carter Bridge

Contractors will be installing bridge heads and placing topsoil in the Jimmy Carter medians this week as part of ongoing completion of the diverging diamond interchange and new bridge at Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Interstate 85. Drivers can expect one right lane closed east and westbound 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. through Friday between Goshen Springs and McDonough Drive.

During the evening hours, drivers will find one right lane east and westbound closed 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. through Friday between Goshen Springs and McDonough Drive.
