Woodward Academy in College Park is in the midst of a week-long celebration of diversity featuring  arts and historical events.

The celebration, which runs through April 12, includes a variety of events, such as: a remembrance of the Civil Rights Movement through music and other media; a discussion of "Ruth and the Green Book," a book about the difficulties of travel for African-Americans during Jim Crow, and an Experience the Arts Day with performances, paintings and sculpture.
