The Woodstock Police Department will join other local agencies for the 32nd annual National Night Out. It’s set for 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Park at City Center, 101 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock.

The event will feature K-9 demonstrations, a Georgia State Patrol helicopter, bounce houses and more activities for both kids and adults. The Woodstock park and recreation department will provide food and drink.

Department officials said National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen partnerships between the police and community and garner support for anti-crime efforts. More information: 770-592-6000, extension 1172.
