Atlanta police are searching for a woman who didn’t make her connecting flight and hasn’t been heard from in the three days since.
Anna Giannini’s flight from Milan, Italy, landed at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 5:10 p.m. Sunday. She was expected to take a connecting flight home to Albuquerque, N.M., but she wasn’t on the plane when it landed there, Atlanta police spokesman Officer Ralph Woolfolk said.
Giannini’s sister, who was waiting for her in Albuquerque, told police she hasn’t heard from her.
“We are not sure if she got on another flight or how she left the airport,” Woolfolk said.
Giannini is 32 years old, about 5-foot-4 and has brown hair and eyes, police said. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Atlanta police Investigator E. Brown at 404-546-4235 or embrown@atlantaga.gov.
