College Park police are investigating the death of a woman who was killed after she got out of her car along Interstate 285 Friday.
“She was hit by a truck,” Sgt. Jeff Hightower told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “We don’t know if she ran out or she fell.”
No foul play is suspected.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, was killed around 4:50 p.m. by the Old National Highway exit, Hightower said.
