A woman suffered non-life threatening injuries Sunday after falling 30 feet from a cliff in Roswell’s Vickery Creek Park, city fire officials said.

The 29-year-old woman was being transported to an area hospital, Roswell Fire Marshal Paul Piccirilli told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Piccirilli was unaware of the extent of the woman’s injuries or what led to the fall. No further information was immediately available.

The park includes the Vickery Creek trail network and is one of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area parks near Atlanta, according to the Atlanta Trails website. The hike explores several historic mills at Roswell Mill and a spillway dam waterfall on a Chattahoochee River tributary.

“The three-mile Vickery Creek trail network hikes through beautiful, rolling forest and catches views of the rushing dam waterfall from a steep rock bluff,” reads the website.
