Investigators are trying to determine who shot a woman early Tuesday morning in College Park.

Around 7:40 a.m., police found the 34-year-old woman wounded in the abdomen outside a building in the 2100 block of Godby Road.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she is in stable condition, police detective Sgt. Jeff Hightower told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

"She's not giving us any details and acting very confused about where she was when she was shot," Hightower said.

Investigators, he said, are combing the streets looking evidence that would point to a shooter.

The woman has not been identified.
