Woman found dead in Cobb County home

A woman was found dead in a Cobb County home Thursday afternoon, police said.

The home is located in the 5300 block of Barlow Pass, near Powder Springs, according to Sgt. Dana Pierce.

The death is being treated as a homicide, Pierce said. There is a person of interest, he said.

Cobb police responded to a 4:41 p.m. call.
