Woman, 78, dies after house fire in Forsyth County

A 78-year-old Forsyth County woman died of injuries she suffered in a fire at her house Tuesday afternoon, Forsyth County Fire Department Division Chief Jason Shivers said.

Judith Parsley had been taken to Northside Forsyth Hospital after the fire on Old Pruitt Road just before 2 p.m.

She had been found unconscious.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
