The fire started about 1 p.m. Tuesday. The initial call indicated people may have been trapped inside, the fire department said.

Photos sent out by the fire department show smoke coming from all sides of the house, with the left side up in flames.

The three people inside during the fire were able to get themselves out. One was shown in a photograph being carried to safety by a DeKalb firefighter.
