Nearly 200 residents and business owners from Peachtree Corners and Dunwoody participated Tuesday in a joint Winters Chapel Corridor workshop to discover ways to improve pedestrian safety, increase road safety and enhance the appearance of the 2 ½ mile road that runs from Peachtree Industrial Boulevard to Spalding Drive.

During the workshop, participants were encouraged to study a series of maps and jot down improvements they would like to see incorporated into the plan.

“We want you to tell us where you think crosswalks are needed, where you would like to see sidewalks added,” said Pond & Co.’s Michelle Alexander.

After the study is complete, Pond & Company will present its findings to the two cities for approval.
