A single winning ticket, sold in Minnesota, matched all six numbers in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing.
The winning numbers are: 11, 18, 36, 41, 46, with Powerball 38.
The cash value of the $220 million was approximately $118 million, Kimberly Starks, a spokeswoman for the Georgia Lottery, said before the numbers were announced.
The jackpot will be reset at $20 million for Saturday night's drawing.
The jackpot for Friday night's Mega Millions drawing, meanwhile, is $16 million.
