If you bought a Georgia Lottery ticket in Powder Springs last week, then you may want to review that purchase.
That’s because four winning tickets worth $50,000 each were sold Saturday, July 6 in the Powerball drawing. The winning numbers were 4-8-23-46-65 and the Powerball was 1. All four tickets matched the first four winning numbers and the Powerball, Georgia Lottery said.
The four winning tickets each worth $50,000 were sold at Exxon Food Mart at 1801 Sigman Road in Conyers; Citgo Food Mart at 1925 Mason Mill Road in Decatur; Kroger at 4400 Brownsville Road in Powder Springs; and U.S. Food Mart at 7748 Old Alabama Road NW in Rome.
The organization said the winners have not come forward to claim their prizes. Powerball winners have six months from the draw date to claim their earnings. The July 10 Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $180 million to a single annuity winner.
