Will July 4th affect Gwinnett trash pickup?

No. No it will not.

Trash and recycling pickup in unincorporated Gwinnett County will continue as normal on the July 4th holiday, officials said. But residents who live within city limits should check to see if their haulers will work on a different schedule.

Gwinnett County government offices, meanwhile, will be closed for Independence Day (except for “operations required for the comfort and safety of residents,” like police and fire).

Normal business hours will resume on July 5.
