Who's who in Dunwoody daycare shooting trial

Defendant Hemy Neuman, widow Andrea Sneiderman, prosecutors, defense attorneys and witnesses in the Dunwoody daycare shooting trial.

Hemy Neuman, was charged in the Nov. 18, 2010 death of Dunwoody businessman Rusty Sneiderman. He is currently serving a life sentence without parole after a jury found him guilty but mentally ill in the murder.

During the Hemy Neuman trial, Andrea Sneiderman, widow of Rusty Sneiderman, was banned from the courtroom and courthouse after the judge ruled that she had made improper contact with witnesses and had made disruptive comments during court sessions.

Shayna Citron, a longtime friend of the Sneidermans, testified that Andrea called her and said Rusty had been shot and that she was on the way to the hospital. Andrea Sneiderman made a veiled threat to Citron after contradicting the widow's account, leading to Sneiderman's courtroom and courthouse ban.

Don Sneiderman, the victim's father, whose testimony contradicted that of Andrea Sneiderman. Don Sneiderman said his son's wife called at roughly 9:30 a.m. that November day, when she was en route to Dunwoody Prep, to tell him, Rusty has been shot. Andrea Sneiderman testified she did not know her husband had been shot until she arrived at the hospital.

Melanie White, friend of Hemy Neuman, who testified the defendant had told her that Andrea Sneiderman had broken things off after a trip to Greenville, S.C. However, Neuman also told her he was intimate with Sneiderman while in South Carolina.

William Presnell, investigator with the DeKalb D.A.'s office, who was tasked with finding the Kia van that Hemy Neuman allegedly drove.

Seth Kirschenbaum, Andrea Sneiderman' attorney, who told the AJC in a statement, "Mrs. Sneiderman knew she was going to get beaten up on the witness stand. [She] has always cooperated in this case, and she wanted to help the prosecution even if it meant being subjected to withering attack."

Jane Newman, executive director of Dunwoody Prep, who described the location where Rusty Sneiderman was shot. She testifies there are 48 security cameras at the school, one of which caught a silver minivan leaving the scene.

Dr. Tracey Marks, a psychiatrist and defense witness who testified Neuman suffers from bipolar disorder.
