The White House Initiative on Asian American and Pacific Islanders will hold a community action summit on Friday at Emory University.
The meeting, with Atlanta business executives, educators, small business owners and state and local officials, will include a town hall meeting and discussions on the economy, jobs, health care and immigration.
Participants include Chris Lu, co-chair of the White House initiative and assistant to the president; Tuyet Duong, policy advisor of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. at Emory's Harland Cinema, Dobbs University Center, 605 Asbury Circle.
