You have one more opportunity to cast a ballot in Gwinnett County this year.

The Dec. 4 runoff elections will decide who will become Georgia's secretary of state. Neither Republican Brad Raffensperger nor Democrat John Barrow earned 50 percent of the vote in the November election, which also included Libertarian Smythe Duval. That triggered a runoff between Raffensperger and Barrow as the top two finishers.

Just like the general election, you will have an opportunity to vote early in the runoff. Gwinnett County will hold early voting at its Voter Registration and Elections Office on 455 Grayson Highway in Lawrenceville. You an cast a ballot between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. from Monday, Nov. 26 to Friday, Nov. 30.

Unlike the general election, there will be no satellite voting locations. There were seven of those across the county in advance of the November election, but for runoffs, the Lawrenceville location is early voters’ only option.
