Atlanta residents looking to clear their criminal record of misdemeanors can do so at an expungement event this weekend.

The City Solicitor’s Office is holding an expungement event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on the third floor of the Atlanta Municipal Court, located at 150 Garnett Street.

Offenders must bring a copy of their criminal history, which can be obtained at any local police station. Attendees must register for the event online.

The Fulton Solicitor’s Office is also holding a misdemeanor record expungement event on Veterans Day, Nov. 11 from noon to 4 p.m. at The Temple, located at 1589 Peachtree St.

Offenders must register for that event by Oct. 23. The event is open to the first 250 applicants.
