Jeni's is opening its fifth location in Buckhead this week.

Summer may be over, but that doesn’t mean the ice cream scoops have to stop.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream is opening its fifth location Thursday at the Buckhead Marketplace. And to celebrate, the eatery is giving away free ice cream.

The first 50 ice cream lovers in line will also get a swag bag. Patrons will also meet Jeni herself.

The grand opening is from 7 to 11 p. m. at its newest location on 77 West Paces Ferry Road at Suite 35B.
