What is causing all the smoke over Milton and Roswell?

A fire burning in at a construction landfill is sending smoke over neighborhoods off Arnold Mill Road in North Fulton.

The fire is burning at the Chadwick Road Landfill, operated by Waste Management. Onlooker delays were reported eastbound on Arnold Mill, which is also Ga. 140.

Fires are not unusual at landfills. Chadwick Road Landfill accepts construction debris. It is located near the Military Depot just east of the Little River and the Fulton/Cherokee County line.
