University of West Georgia President Beheruz Sethna said Wednesday he will retire June 30.

Sethna, 64, has led the college for nearly 19 years. Enrollment has grown by about 50 percent to nearly 12,000 students during his tenure.

College officials said Sethna is the longest-serving university president in Georgia.
