Fulton County Public Works announced that 12 streets in Roswell will be affected Aug. 29 when crews temporarily shut down a water main in the Mountain Park Road area to replace a 6-inch fire hydrant valve.
The shutdown and work are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Water service will be affected on Laurian Park Drive, Chanson Court, Laurian View Court, Hadfield Boulevard, Stanmore Court, Foxley Way, Lonsdale Lane, Windover Court, Marblehead Lane, Windsor Wood Drive, Axworth Court and Mountainwell Drive.
Full service is to be restored before 3 p.m. Electronic message boards will be posted to give project updates. Traffic is not expected to be impacted. The county said it will consult with the Roswell Fire Department about the impact on public safety.
