Jaron Blossomgame might not be in the NBA, but he showed Tuesday night he's still capable of making big-league highlights.

The Alpharetta native and Chattahoochee High graduate was in action for the Austin Spurs on Tuesday. Austin is the G-League affiliate for the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs, who drafted the former Clemson Tiger 59th overall in the NBA draft this past summer.

Four seconds remained as the Spurs trailed by a point to Sioux Falls. From the inbounds pass, Blossomgame raced up the right side of the court and waived his arm, telling teammates he was open.

Two passes later, he was at the rim, guiding the ball into the net off a lob pass. The Spurs won, 119-118.

Blossomgame started and played 32 minutes for the Spurs in the win, tallying 25 points, a block, an assist and eight rebounds. Through six games he is averaging 15.8 points per game this season.

At Chattahoochee High in Johns Creek, Blossomgame set school records for most career points, rebounds and blocked shots. The 6-foot-7 forward was an All-ACC selection twice at Clemson, and helped the Tigers reach the NIT in 2014 and 2017.
