President Donald Trump will be in Atlanta on Wednesday to headline a summit targeting prescription drug abuse

Trump will address the Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit at 1 p.m. April 24 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kelly McCurdy, the event's spokeswoman, told The AJC's Greg Bluestein. It's unclear if the president will hold a rally or make any other public appearances while he's in Georgia.

This will be Trump's first visit to Georgia this year. He and first lady Melania Trump visited in October 2018 to survey damage caused by Hurricane Michael.

First daughter Ivanka Trump flew down and toured a UPS driver training facility in Duluth with Gov. Brian Kemp in February.
