Kareem Adekunle has been through a lot.

He grew up in a Nigerian boarding house, and moved to the United States (and Gwinnett County) all alone at the age of 16. He dreamed of getting a basketball scholarship, but the offers never came. He feared he'd never go to college.

Then he found Georgia Gwinnett College.

Adekunle graduated from GGC on Tuesday — and awed his fellow graduates with an emotional speech that's been viewed nearly 10,000 times on the school's Facebook page.
