A popular Alpharetta playground re-opened Monday after closing Wednesday, Nov. 6, as crews did routine maintenance.

The city said contractors and staff were going to pressure wash and stain the equipment at Wacky World Playground and make minor repairs.

The city described the playground as “a mammoth structure of slides, monkey bars, bridges, towers and swings.”

The playground sits in Wills Park, 11925 Wills Road.

Residents can always use the non-wacky Wills Park Recreation Center or check out other parks.
