The Community Assistance Center is seeking volunteers to help low and moderate income earners prepare and file their income tax return forms for free. Get free training and help your neighbors in need avoid costly tax prep services. CAC in Sandy Springs is a site for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, an initiative of the IRS and the United Way
VITA volunteers are needed also needed to help staff the reception desk. No experience is necessary.

Elementary school looking for readers
Kilpatrick Elementary School is looking for volunteers to read books by black authors during its first "READ-IN" to commemorate Black History Month and those who conducted sit-ins for civil rights. The school is looking for readers of all ethnicities.
When: 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 23
