The Brookhaven city council recently appointed volunteer members to its Zoning Ordinance Rewrite Steering Committee, a process that will make comprehensive changes to the DeKalb ordinance that the city adopted when it was formed.

The goal is to make allowing new building and development projects in the city a simpler process.

The new members are: Mike Busher, Kevin Quirk, Stan Segal, Richard Lauth, Alan Cablik, Tom Porter, Tim Nama, Alex Michaud, Jeff O’Connell, Jack Honderd, Donnie Reed and Keith Lynch.
