Atlanta veterans looking for jobs in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak can do so at a free virtual job fair later this month.

The nonprofit group Disabled American Veterans and employment website RecruitMilitary are co-hosting the job fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 25, according to a news release. The job fair is also open to veterans’ spouses, active-duty military personnel and members of the National Guard and Reserve.

“Whether you’re transitioning out of the military and looking for a new career or you’ve been out of the military and are looking for something new, it’s always a very daunting and stressful task,” said DAV national employment director Jeff Hall in the release. “This mission is made much, much more difficult in the face of a national pandemic.”

Employers hiring at the fair include Bank of America, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and Grady Health System.

Attendees can register for the virtual job fair here.
