VIDEO: Store robber points AK-47-style gun at woman’s head in DeKalb

With an AK-47-style gun, a suspect stormed a Lithonia-area convenience store and forced a clerk to let him in the register.

DeKalb County police released security footage Tuesday of the robbery at Food Mart, located at 2761 Evans Mill Road. It happened at 9:36 a.m.

The suspect is shown coming in the store and soon running into the woman, who falls to the floor near an aisle. He pulls on her shirt or her hair to get her to the register, in the process holding the gun in the direction of her head.

He then takes cash and leaves.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Commercial Robbery Unit at 770-724-7890.
