A surveillance video obtained by Channel 2 Action News shows the June 2010 break-in at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church that preceded the sexual misconduct lawsuit against Bishop Eddie Long.

Charges in the burglary case were dropped Monday against former church security guard Anthony Boyd, who told Channel 2 that the video proved he was not involved.

Two men are shown breaking into the church around 4:50 a.m.

"Look how small I am. Look how big he is," Boyd told Channel 2. "And look at the other guy, he shows his face like he don't care."

Boyd, 20, and Maurice Robinson were arrested in June 2010 and charged with burglary.

Robinson accepted a deal to enter a pre-trial diversion program in exchange for having the charges dismissed. Boyd proclaimed his innocence and wanted to fight the charges. He was accused of using his access at the church to help Robinson enter Long's office, from which jewelry and electronics worth about $100,000 were stolen.

Robinson and three other men later settled a sexual misconduct lawsuit against Long for an undisclosed sum. Boyd was not involved in the lawsuit.

DeKalb County District Attorney Robert James said earlier this week that he would honor a request from Long to dismiss the charges against Boyd, noting Long's reluctance to testify in the case.

Long had tried to get the charges against Boyd dropped before, asking then-District Attorney Gwen Keyes-Fleming last August.
