Authorities have identified the two men found shot to death inside a car Wednesday afternoon in southwest Atlanta.

The men were identified as Anthony Jackson, 25, of Atlanta, and Miguel Hayes, 25, address unknown, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police responded to a report of shots fired around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home in the 3600 block of Asbury Lane, near Fairburn Road, according to Atlanta police Lt. Paul Guerrucci.

Officers arrived to find the two men dead in a vehicle, Guerrucci said. Both had been shot multiple times, he said.

A third person transported himself to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the hand, Guerrucci said. He did not provide the survivor’s identity.

The incident remains under investigation.
