Three transportation improvement projects requiring utility relocation were addressed by the Henry County Board of Commissioners at its June 18 regular meeting.

The board allocated a $43,701.31 expenditure for the Henry County Water Authority and an additional $38,000 for Central Georgia EMC regarding the intersection improvement project at Simpson Mill Road and Hampton-Locust Grove Road. That money comes from the county’s SPLOST account. Also approved was a $12,268.89 disbursement to the HCWA for a pipe replacement project on Lake Dow Road. That cost is being covered in the county’s Stormwater Department budget.

All three agenda items were approved by unanimous vote.
