Update: All I-575 NB lanes in Woodstock open, officials say

UPDATE: I-575's northbound lanes in Cherokee County are passable, according to Woodstock police.

Icy patches were originally reported Tuesday morning on 575 north in Cherokee, between exits eight and nine, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Original story: Icy conditions prompted officials to close northbound lanes of I-575 at Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock just before noon on Tuesday, according to the GDOT website.
