Chancellor Hank Huckaby said Thursday the University System of Georgia must make better use of online learning and formed a committee to come up with suggestions.

Southern Polytechnic State University President Lisa Rossbacher will lead the nine-member group. They will submit recommendations this summer.

The system has more than 230 online programs and Huckaby has said expanding this option will help more people earn a college degree. The system is working to improve graduation rates as part of Gov. Nathan Deal's Complete College Georgia initiative.
