Union City roadwork begins on Shannon Way

Union City announced scheduled maintenance taking place this weekend.

The intersection at Shannon Way and State Road 138, also known as Jonesboro Road, will be the site of the remediation project, resetting and improving the width of the lanes in the street. Weather permitting, the work will delay traffic until Monday.

Jonesboro Road will have lane closures, however traffic will be allowed through and the flow of traffic will be controlled. Access to Shannon Way will be detoured for entry. Motorists should prepare for delays and consider alternate routes.
