The Union City Public Works Department announced that Shannon Boulevard will be closed now through Tuesday.
Shannon Boulevard lies between Shannon Parkway and Oakley Road. The replacement is part of the city’s goal of infrastructure improvements over the next decade.
The city shut the street down in order to replace three storm drains along the street.
Motorists should plan alternative routes.
