The Union City Council will consider annexing and rezoning 4.72 acres of property located at 4910-4950 Derrick Road into Union City during its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Union City Hall, 5047 Union Street.
There also will be a public hearing during the meeting to review alcoholic beverage license applications by Circle K located 4597 Jonesboro Road and Exxon located at 6687 Roosevelt Highway.
Another item to consider is approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with the city of Atlanta to relocate two water utility structures as a part of the Transportation Enhancement Project.
The council will also discuss the city’s application for the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Response Grant and re-appointment of Jennifer Jones Potts to the Housing Authority Board, an action deferred for 30 days during the Feb. 16 meeting.
