Union City’s fire marshall and city planner are holding a meeting for residents and builders working in the city for session on permitting and development applications noon to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Union City Depot, 5047 Union Street.

The meeting’s purpose is to inform people interested in constructing new homes and businesses, giving information on building, sign and special event permits.
