Union City to consider housing, Red Cross shelters, land annexing

Union City will be holding a regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday at City Hall, 5047 Union Street.

Items on the agenda to be considered: the re-appointment of Jennifer Jones Potts to the Housing Authority Board; approval of request to declare the Etris Community Center as an emergency shelter by the American Red Cross; approval of request to reduce the deposit amount for Residential Water Services; approval for an Alcoholic Beverage License application submitted by Savio Dennis Fernandes for packages sales for malt and vinous liquors for Circle K, 3601 Flat Shoals Road; and consideration of annexing and rezoning 4.5 acres of land on Buffington Road into Union City.
