Union City to consider food truck ordinance

The Union City council will consider and get guidance on a proposed food truck ordinance at its regular meeting at 7 p.m. March 21.
Other agenda items under consideration include revisions to a section of the code of ordnances regarding electric coil cooking devices; a resolution to adopt the 2016 Comprehensive Plan Update and transmit the resolution to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs; to decide on a fuel adjustment rate increase for commercial sanitation; and to consider entering an agreement with Utility Service Group in the amount of $150,000.
