The Union City city council’s approved consent agenda from November included the following Unitems:

a request to enter into a right of way mowing and maintenance with the Georgia Department of Transportation to begin after the completion of the construction of the Union City Pedestrian System phase two;

  • entering an agreement with a contractor for the provision of legal representation to certain indigent defendants;
  • retaining the services of a solicitor in the municipal court of Union City;
  • a resolution declaring the results of the Nov. 8 2016 election determining the issuance of general obligation bonds by an affirmative voice of a majority of the qualified voters voting in the election and that the issuance of the bonds has been authorized as required by law.
  • The consent agenda included the approval of minutes from October and November meetings, presentations, hearings and adoptions.
