The Union City Council will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Union City Hall, 5047 Union St. The council will consider a request to submit an application for the Roadside Enhancement and Beautification Council (REBC) Grant; a request to award the commercial sanitation contract to Advanced Disposal; and the residential sanitation contract to Waste Industries. A public hearing will take place to address rezoning 4.5 acres of Buffington Road and consider approval for an alcoholic beverage license application submitted for packages sales of malt and vinous liquors for Circle K at 3601 Flat Shoals Road.
