DeKalb County police are trying to identify a man found unconscious Wednesday on Columbia Drive.
The man was found with a skull fracture lying on the sidewalk outside the Advanced Auto Parts at 1856 Columbia Drive, police said.
Police believe he may have been robbed or assaulted, police spokeswoman Bettina Durant said.
Police describe the victim as a black man, age 40 to 50, with salt-and-pepper hair and a receding hair line.
He is in critical condition at an area hospital, Durant said.
