UGA will hold summer graduation Aug. 4

Nearly 1,500 students will graduate from the University of Georgia during a summer commencement scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Aug. 4 in the Stegeman Coliseum on campus.

Pat Mitchell, president of the Paley Center for Media, will serve as the commencement speaker. Mitchell holds bachelor's and master's degrees from UGA.

The ceremony, which will include undergraduate and graduate students, will be streamed live at: www.uga.edu.
