It would be hard for Marietta’s Kendell Williams to be as athletically impressive if she wore all her hardware.
And on Friday, the University of Georgia track and field phenom won another award — the 2016-2017 Roy F. Kramer SEC Female Athlete of the Year.
The award is determined by a vote of the league’s athletics directors.
Williams graduated from Kell High School, where she was named the 2012-13 Gatorade National Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year.
She continued her tour de force at the University of Georgia, where she has become the third competitor in NCAA history to win at least three national heptathlon titles, the league said.
Williams is the only woman in NCAA Division I Indoor sport history to win four times in the same event. The senior ends her career with seven of the top 10 pentathlon scores in collegiate history, according to the Southeastern Conference's announcement of her award.
Not only has she repped Kell and UGA, she’s also worn the red, white and blue uniform.
At the 2016 Olympics in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro, Williams finished in 17th place in the heptathlon event.

Being freakishly good at sports is a family affair, as her older brother Devon Williams also recently won titles in multiple track and field events.
